The Linksys EA8500 router is a great dual-band gigabit router that will ensure that you are prepared to utilize the fastest and most advanced wireless technology available today.
This router is large and features a well-ventilated case that keeps things nice and cool (cooler than my previous modem.) The Linksys logo lights up in white and you can tell at a glance that your network is up and running when it`s lit solid; it blinks on and off when booting or if there are connectivity issues (it can also be turned off in the router settings if you like.) There are network connectivity/activity lights on the rear ports, as well as an external power switch and reset.
